For Once, I Agree with the Tobacco Companies
I hate smoking (and, often, smokers), and love smoking bans. I also despise lying tobacco company executives. But I’m no fan of ridiculous government regulation either, and that’s just what you have with this latest edict from the FDA. The FDA has required these “labels” on cigarette packages, and the tobacco companies are challenging it.
As if these new labels would make a difference to anyone intent on slowly kill himself anyway. It’s nothing more than shameless grandstanding by the FDA.
