It's an understatement to say the Red Cross does a great deal of good in the world, but don't believe that your contribution will directly make a difference in Haiti. Remember the huge outpouring of support for the Red Cross following 9/11? Painfully little went to actually help anyone affected by the attacks. Read the story here.
