First, the Trump sideshow completely keeps her off the screen, and her numbers drop. More on that effect below.
Second, Trump does not have a majority anywhere, and he will require a majority to win the nomination. At this point, Trump has only 82 delegates of the 1,287 necessary to clinch the nomination. That just ain't gonna happen. What will happen is that there will be a brokered convention where the non-Trump candidates select one of themselves - hopefully, Rubio or Kasich- who will win the nomination.
Third, and this is the most important one, any of the leading Republicans are ahead of Hillary in a one-to-one matchup - except Trump- according to Real Clear Politicshttp://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2016/president/2016_Clinton_vs._Republicans.html. Hence, the results of the brokered convention (that is, not Trump) should yield a Republican victory in the end.
So relax, the Republic will survive, and the more Trump takes the light off Hillary, the better the Republican chances in November.
