Big Endorsement for Stirrup

In a wicked political headslap, Delegate Joe May, who has served in the Virginia House of Delegates for the last 17 years including eight years alongside Dick Black, today gave his pre-primary endorsement to Black's opponent in his race for state senate, Prince William County Supervisor John Stirrup.

Of course, Del. May's endorsement properly touts Mr. Stirrup as "a proven conservative and a man of integrity," but my guess is that Del. May is really just not too fond of the idea of reuniting with a former colleague who would send around plastic fetuses either.
