President Teleprompter continues with the blame game

In a rare address from the Oval Office, our esteemed Teleprompter President simply dished out more inflammatory rhetoric . Again acting like a schoolyard punk, Obama boasts that he will "make BP pay" rather than offer any pragmatic solutions to the Deepwater Horizon disaster.

All this chest beating, and still the public's assessment of his handling of the crisis continues to decline. Maybe, just maybe, it's time to work on solving the problem in cooperation with those who know most about it rather than distracting everyone with bursts of pseudo-machismo. In other words, maybe he should just start acting like a president.

  1. That's a fairly harsh bit of criticism for someone who doesn't seem to have kept up at all with the situation in the Gulf. If you really think nothing has been done to try to fix what's going on down there, you haven't paid any attention at all.

You're confusing hating Obama with actual knowledge of issues. Grow up.

  2. Just what is it, oh Anonymous Oracle, that I'm missing in the Administration's response, or lack of a response, to the spill? Clearly, the Adminstration's focus, at least publicly, has been retribution rather than remediation.

And, by the way, I don't hate President Teleprompter. His incompetence and arrogance genuinely jeopardize this nation's future to be sure, but I don't hate him.

  4. And you've proven my point that you don't have any intel on the Administration's response.
