ANOTHER $50 billion?!

Where to begin.

Let's see . . .

Obama rams through a $700 billion pork-laden, free-for-all-spending package under the guise of an economic stimulus, bribes his way to a $1 trillion dollar health care entitilement program, and now demands another $50 billion to pay off the teachers' unions. When will the insanity end?

Oh, wait, there's end in sight!

"'I think there is spending fatigue,' House Majority Leader Steny H. Hoyer (D-Md.) said recently." as quoted in the Post.

Hooray! Apparently, congressional Democrats are simply becoming too tired to cut any more checks. Maybe that's the way to the fiscal discipline Obama has promised.

  1. and Lloyd.. YOUR solution is to put back the same Republicans that ran this country into the economic ditch?

    Is that your "solution"?

I'm just trying to figure you guys out because you don't like this guy and you SAY you did not like Bush AND the Republicans who took a surplus and gave tax cuts while doing away with Paygo....

now you think these guys should be put back in charge?

    ya'll are funny....

  2. Yeah, Larry. I think they all need fiscal discipline. My point is that Obama's spending borders on insane.

  3. and the guys you want to replace him - did not border on insane fiscal behavior?

I'm just trying to understand why you want the same guys who took a surplus to a deficit back in charge....

    I don't get it.

Who is your alternative to Obama?

    no weaseling here..

  5. There are several hundred thousand people I'd prefer to see president ahead of Obama. My first choice - myself. Second choice, my mom. Third choice, my dad. Fourth choice, my brother. Fifth choice, another brother.

    It goes on and on.

  6. of course.. but what are they going to accomplish?

is your advocacy just to replace him and then worry about what to do?

that seems to be the idea, eh?

  7. Larry, in case you missed it....Republicans are not in a position to vote anything out. This whole spendorama may have started with "some" Republicans, but it really took off with the TOTUS (Turd of the US)....
Let's do try to focus on the immediate problem and turn our eyes to the fringe after we control the spill that is democrats, huh?

  8. re: "some" Republicans, Lloyd?

How about a majority of both Houses of Congress and the President who took a tax cut and two wars on the credit card and even though they controlled both houses of Congress and the Presidency their "excuse" was that one minority Congressman named Frank prevented them from reining in Frannie/Freddie so the housing meltdown would almost run the country into a depression and then no Republicans wanted to take action to keep the country from spiraling into a depression?

    these "some" Republicans?

and so you want Obama and the Dems out but what do you want to happen next?

it appears to me that not too many are really thinking in terms of what we do besides getting rid of those we don't want. eh?
